Sally's Oriental Salad

  1. Salad -.
  2. Put coleslaw in a large salad bowl.
  3. Crush Ramen Noodles while in pkg.
  4. (I use a wooden spoon to crush noodles.)
  5. DO NOT COOK THE NOODLES!
  6. Put both pkgs.
  7. Ramen Noodles on top of coleslaw - add chopped green onions, and top with sunflower seeds.
  8. Dressing -.
  9. Mix canola oil, sugar, vinegar, and dry seasoning mix from noodles.
  10. (Mix well in a jar or something with a lid.)
  11. refrigerate until ready to serve salad.
  12. When ready to serve mix salad dressing once again.
  13. Pour over top of salad.
  14. Mix salad and dressing well and serve.
  15. NOTE - The salad can be made the night before and kept in a refrigerator.
  16. Do Not put dressing on salad until ready to serve.
  17. The salad is WONDERFUL and easy to make.
  18. I double this recipe if serving a large group.
