Savory Sausages

  1. Place sausages in a cold frying pan.
  2. Cover with cold water.
  3. Bring to a boil.
  4. Drain sausages.
  5. Fry the sausages over medium heat for 5-8 minutes.
  6. Remove sausages.
  7. Add onions, 1 tbsp water and sugar.
  8. Brown onions lightly.
  9. Sprinkle with flour.
  10. Cook for 1 minute more.
  11. Add the liquid and add savory.
  12. Bring to boil until thickened.
  13. Serve with mashed potatoes.
  14. Return sausages and heat together.
