Blender Bernaise Sauce Recipe

  1. Cook onion in wine vinegar till liquid is absorbed and onion tender.
  2. Put in electric blender with egg yolks and seasonings.
  3. Blend 5 seconds.
  4. Gradually add in melted butter.
  5. (If your blender does not have a small opening in the lid, cover the container with heavy foil, making a hole in it and insert a funnel.
  6. Fasten foil down with a heavy rubber band.)
  7. The sauce will thicken at once.
  8. If too thick, add in a small amount of warm water.
  9. Excellent on steak or possibly roast beef.
  10. An especially good sauce for beef fondue.
