Hot Mulled Sherried Apple Cider Recipe

  1. Place the cinnamon and cloves in a piece of cheesecloth, tie the bundle tightly with butchers twine, and place it in a large pot.
  2. Add the cider or juice, orange slices, and honey and stir to combine.
  3. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the flavors have blended, about 1 hour.
  5. Remove the spice bundle and discard.
  6. Stir in the sherry and serve.
