Butterscotch Lemon Cookies Recipe
- 1 1/2 c. All-purpose flour
- 2 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 1/2 c. Butter, softened
- 1 x Egg
- 2 Tbsp. Lowfat milk
- 1 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1 tsp Grated lemon rind
- 3/4 pkt (12-ounce) Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking pwdr and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine sugar and butter; beat well.
- Add in egg, lowfat milk, lemon juice and lemon rind; beat well.
- (Mix will appear curdled.)
- Gradually beat in flour mix.
- Stir in Nestle Toll House butterscotch flavored morsels.
- Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheets.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 min.
- Allow to stand 2 min before removing from cookie sheets.
- Cold completely on wire racks.
- Makes about 1-1/2 dozen 3-inch cookies.
