Mommas Chilli
- 2 lb Ground beef
- 1/2 cup Green pepper
- 1/2 cup Sweet onion
- 1 packages Mild cheddar cheese shredded
- 2 packages Chili mix
- 1 can Red kidney beans
- 1 can Chili beans
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 1 can Diced tomatoes
- 2 large Fresh tomato
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Brown ground beef ( or turkey) in large skillet.
- Drain all grease from meat.
- Put meat in large baking dish aside.
- Chop up all fresh veggies
- Melt butter in pan and cook down all fresh veggies ie green pepper/onion/tomato
- Put chili mix into meat mixture, add kidney beans, add chili beans mix together well
- Add sauteed veggies to meat and mix again
- Pat flat and sprinkle cheese over tip
- Bake 15 minutes and serve
- *Adding fritos chips and a spoonful of sour cream is optional
