Macaroni Salad with Aurora Sauce
- 100 grams Macaroni
- 100 grams Frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 Cucumber
- 1 can Canned tuna
- 1 Raisins (optional)
- 3 tbsp Mayonnaise
- 3 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 dash Dried parsley
- 1 dash Salt
- 1 dash Pepper (optional)
- Boil water and add some salt.
- Cook the macaroni ( follow the package instructions for cooking times).
- Slice the cucumber thinly, massage with salt and leave to rest for a while.
- When the cucumber is wilted rinse under tap water and squeeze out very well.
- Add the frozen mixed vegetables to the cooking water 2~3 minutes before the macaroni is done.
- Cook together in the same pan!
- Drain the macaroni and mixed vegetables in a colander and run some cold water over them quickly.
- Put the mayonnaise, ketchup, dried parsley and drained tune in a bowl.
- Mix well.
- Add2,4and the raisins into5.
- Done!
- If it tastes too bland add some pepper.
- I put some in my child's bento box for lunch.
