Thai Flank Steak Recipe
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 3/4 c. barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp. grated fresh ginger
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 flank steak (about 1 1/2 lbs.)
- Oil for grill
- Garnish: thinly sliced green onions
- In small bowl, combine lemon juice, soy sauce, barbecue sauce, ginger, garlic and red pepper flakes.
- Pour over steak, cover and chill several hrs or possibly overnight.
- Remove meat; reserve marinade for basting.
- Place steak on oiled grill over warm coals.
- Close lid grill 15 to 20 min, turning once and basting with marinade during last 5 min.
- Cut cooked steak diagonally into thin slices.
- Bring remaining marinade to boil, then spoon over meat.
- Garnish with green onions.
- 4 servings.
