Hodag Pie (Chicken Pie) Recipe
- 1 unbaked 9" pie shell
- 1 c. cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 c. diced, cooked chicken
- 3 Large eggs
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. lowfat sour cream
- 1/3 c. mayonnaise
- 1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon warm pepper sauce
- 1 1/2 c. minced broccoli, thawed & liquid removed
- Sprinkle 1/2 c. cheese over bottom of pastry shell.
- Top with chicken.
- Beat Large eggs; stir in onion, lowfat sour cream, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce and warm pepper sauce.
- Pour over the chicken and cheese.
- Sprinkle broccoli on top, followed by the remaining cheese.
- Bake in 425 degree oven for 30 to 45 min.
- Let stand at room temperature for 15 min before serving.
