Homemade Pasta/Pizza Sauce
- 30 ounces tomato paste
- 30 ounces water
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 12 tablespoon italian seasoning
- 12 tablespoon onion flakes
- 12 tablespoon pepper
- 12 tablespoon salt
- 12 tablespoon sugar
- Empty tomato paste into a large bowl and add equal parts water.
- Stir with a large spoon until smooth.
- You may want to use a masher to make it easier to get the clumps out.
- Add all of your spices to your sauce.
- The measurements are just a starting point, as you may need to change the measurements according to your taste.
- The spices in the sauce are what make it great, but the amount of each is up to each individual's taste.
- Make sure to do several taste tests as you go!
- Depending on what you're using the sauce for, you may need to simmer the sauce on the stove.
- This recipe yields a lot of sauce, so either store or freeze for later use.
