Hot Chocolate Sauce
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 pound imported bittersweet chocolate, cut into small pieces
- In a small saucepan, bring the cream to a simmer over moderate heat.
- Add the chocolate, turn off the heat and cover.
- Let stand for 10 minutes, then whisk to blend.
- Rewarm just before serving.
