Homemade Garlic Powder
- 1-78 ounces, weight Garlic
- Peel the garlic.
- Separate into cloves.
- Next cut cloves into thin slices lengthwise.
- Place sliced garlic on a dry pan and toast over low heat for about 45 minutes or until golden brown.
- Turn garlic slices often so they dry out evenly.
- Grind them into powder.
- You can use a coffee grinder or mortar and pestle.
- (A mortar and pestle is the traditional tool.)
- Pour the garlic powder into a container and store in the freezer.
- Enjoy.
