Bloody Mary Soup
- 5 large ripe tomatoes, peeled and seeded
- 1 clove garlic, smashed
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 1 small green sweet pepper
- 2 cups tomato juice
- 1 teaspoon Tabasco sauce (or sauce of choice. Additional tobasco sauce can be used to taste)
- salt and pepper
- 12 cup vodka, chilled
- Place tomatoes, garlic, onion, green pepper and pepper sauce in blender.
- Blend to a smooth paste then gradually blend in tomato juice.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill at least 4 hours.
- Just before stirring, stir in vodka.
- Serve over ice in large goblets.
- Place a celery stick into each serving.
