Cheesy Salsa Dip
- 1 package (8 Oz.) Cream Cheese, Softened
- 1- 1/2 cup Salsa
- 1 can 4 Oz Diced Green Chilis
- 1- 1/2 cup Grated Cheese (Colby Jack Is Excellent)
- In processor or blender, mix salsa and green chilies for 30 seconds to 1 minute to smooth out mixture.
- Add all ingredients to a medium mixing bowl and blend until combined.
- Note: Its important to allow the cream cheese to warm to room temperature to ensure a smooth finished product.
- Add-ins: some various add-ins I have tried over the years include a handful of chopped cilantro leaves, 1/2 tbsp.
- of cumin, some sliced red chilis for spice, and some jalapenos (to taste).
- Serve with your favorite tortilla chips.
