Annie's the Deli is Closed and I Need It! Sandwich
- 2 slices whole wheat bread, toasted
- 1 medium tomatoes, thinly sliced
- 12 cup alfalfa sprout, washed and patted dry
- 2 slices provolone cheese (or substitute fresh mozzarella, packed in water)
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- Place cheese, then tomato slices on top of the first piece of bread.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread alfalfa over tomatoes.
- Place second piece of bread on top and enjoy!
- Another idea: Add thinly sliced cucumbers for some extra crunch!
