Provolone Toasts

  1. Preheat broiler.
  2. Cut provolone to fit bread slices and set aside.
  3. Toast bread (without cheese) on a large baking sheet 4 inches from heat until golden, 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Turn bread over and arrange provolone on top.
  5. Broil until cheese is melted, 1 to 2 minutes.
