Creme Brulee French Toast

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over med.
  2. heat.
  3. Mix in brown sugar and corn syrup.
  4. Stir until sugar is dissolved.
  5. Pour into a 9x13 baking dish.
  6. Remove crust from bread.
  7. Arrange in the baking dish in a single layer.
  8. in a sm.
  9. bowl whisk eggs, half n half, vanilla, Grand Marnier, and salt.
  10. Pour over bread.
  11. Cover and chill overnight.
  12. Preheat oven to 350F.
  13. Remove the dish from the fridge and bring to room temp.
  14. Bake uncovered 35 to 49 mins.
  15. until puffed and lightly browned.
