Farmhouse RecipeSimmered Cabbage
- 300 grams Cabbage
- 3 Bacon
- 300 ml Water
- 1 1/2 Consomme cube
- 1 Coarsely ground black pepper
- 1 Salt
- 1 Grain mustard
- Roughly chop the cabbage into 2 cm pieces, and the bacon into 1cm slices.
- Boil water and the consomme cubes in a pot.
- Add the ingredients from step 1, cover the pot and simmer for 15 minutes over medium low heat.
- Make sure to stir the pot a few times.
- Once the mountain of cabbage has cooked, season with salt and pepper and it's done.
- Eat with grain mustard if you wish, and enjoy It's also delicious cold.
