Tomato Basil Pasta
- 20 cloves Garlic
- 3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 3 cans (14.5 Oz. Size) Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 pound Angel Hair Pasta
- 1 cup Chicken Broth Or White Wine
- 6 leaves Basil Or 3 Teaspoons Dried
- 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
- Crusty Italian Bread, To Serve
- Mince the garlic and add with the olive oil to a large, deep pan.
- Saute on medium heat just until cooked but not browned.
- Add in the tomatoes (you can use fresh if you like; use 6 tomatoes and remove seeds).
- Let it simmer while you cook your pasta.
- As soon as the pasta is al dente, drain and add to the sauce.
- Turn off the heat.
- Add the broth and toss ingredients together.
- After you have tossed them thoroughly, tear the basil and add in right before you sprinkle the cheese all over.
- Do not stir after you add the cheese!
- Serve with crusty Italian bread.
