Wilted Lettuce (college recipe)
- 1 packages Bacon
- 2 cup Vinegar
- 3 Eggs
- 1 can Cond. Milk (small)
- 2 bunch Green Onions
- 2 head Lettuce
- Chop bacon and saute.
- Drain.
- Add vinegar and bring to a boil.
- Mix milk and eggs together, then stir in slowly to bacon/vinegar.
- Stir constantly until bubbles appear.
- In a separate pot shred lettuce and green onions.
- Pour mixture over lettuce/onions and stir.
- Add an appropriate amount on top of a slice of toast and enjoy.
- For smaller groups use one head of lettuce and one bunch of green onions.
- Freeze half of mixture for a later day.
