Wilted Lettuce (college recipe)

  1. Chop bacon and saute.
  2. Drain.
  3. Add vinegar and bring to a boil.
  4. Mix milk and eggs together, then stir in slowly to bacon/vinegar.
  5. Stir constantly until bubbles appear.
  6. In a separate pot shred lettuce and green onions.
  7. Pour mixture over lettuce/onions and stir.
  8. Add an appropriate amount on top of a slice of toast and enjoy.
  9. For smaller groups use one head of lettuce and one bunch of green onions.
  10. Freeze half of mixture for a later day.
