Creamy Pasta with Peas and Bacon
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 pint Heavy Cream
- 2- 1/2 cups Shredded Parmesan Cheese
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 pinch Cracked Black Pepper, Or To Taste
- 1 pound Pasta - Cooked According To Package Instructions And Drained
- 12 ounces, weight Center Cut Bacon, Cooked And Crumbled (you Can Use A Whole Pound If You Prefer)
- 1- 1/2 cup Frozen Peas (use As Much Or As Little As You Like!)
- In a large skillet, melt one stick of butter over medium heat.
- Once bubbly and foaming, pour in your cream and bring this up to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and whisk until melted and the sauce is smooth and creamy.
- Add the garlic powder and some cracked black pepper to taste.
- I never need to add salt to this, but you can add salt as you see fit.
- Throw in the cooked pasta, crumbled bacon, and frozen peas and stir.
- Thats it!
- Serve topped with more Parmesan as desired.
