Baked Feta
- 1 ounce, weight Block Of Feta Cheese
- 2 Tablespoons Chopped Kalamata Olives
- 2 Tablespoons Seeded And Finely Diced Roma Tomato
- 2 Tablespoons Finely Diced Roasted Red Pepper
- 1 Tablespoon Fresh Oregano, Or 1 Teaspoon Dried
- 1 drop Or Drizzle Of Olive Oil
- Flatbread, Like Naan Or Pita, Warmed And Cut Into Bite Sized Pieces
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In an oven proof serving dish, place the block of feta cheese.
- Top with olives, tomato, peppers and oregano.
- Drizzle VERY LIGHTLY with olive oil (the kalamata olives will give off some more oil while cooking, so put less than you think you should).
- Bake at 425 degrees for 25 30 minutes until soft and spreadable.
- Serve with warm flatbread pieces.
- This can also be cooked on the grill: place the ingredients in a grill-safe metal serving dish, cover with foil, place on the grill for 30 minutes, and serve.
