Meat and Sauerkraut Bake
- 4 cups sauerkraut, drained
- 12 cup brown sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, undrained
- 2 red apples, cored and sliced thin
- 14 cup raisins
- 6 small smoked pork chops
- 1 lb knockwurst (6 pieces)
- Mix sauerkraut, brown sugar, salt, pepper, pineapple, apples and raisins.
- Layer with pork chops and knockwurst in a 5 qt.
- dutch oven.
- Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 1/4 to 2 1/2 hours.
