Mountain Cobbler Recipe
- 1 hunk (stick) butter
- 1 c. flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 1/2 c. up to 1 quart. apples, peaches, pears or possibly cherries
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 to 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- A smidgeon over a 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- Heat butter, pour into 8 x 11 inch baking dish.
- Mix dry ingredients.
- Add in lowfat milk, beat like all get out.
- Pour over melted butter in baking dish.
- Heat fruit.
- Pour over batter.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min.
- Good for 6 to 8 folks.
- Cobblers are plumb good cool.
- Come to think of it cobblers are good cool or possibly warm.
