Texas brisket
- 1/2 cup crushed red pepper
- 1 cup Adkins bbq season
- 1 cup black pepper
- 1/2 can garlic powder
- 1/2 cup onion powder
- Place meat in container let rest in soy sauce and beef stock over night
- Mix all seasoning together and blanket brisket (you can't over season so the more the better )
- Get smoker to about 250 (leave uncovered let meat grab smoke) remember to not put meat close to heat source
- After 4 hours cover brisket with foil and let cook for 6 more hours
- At about 10 hours remove brisket from smoker and let rest for 45 mins
- Slice or chop
red pepper, season, black pepper, garlic, onion powder
