Pleasant Peach Crisp

  1. Prepare crust: Preheat oven to 375.
  2. Line 9-inch pie plate with prepared pastry; trim edges until pastry is even with top edge of pan.
  3. Prepare filling: Combine filling ingredients in large bowl, tossing gently until well mixed.
  4. Spread evenly in prepared crust.
  5. Prepare topping: Combine flour and brown sugar in small bowl.
  6. Using fork or pastry blender, cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse meal.
  7. Stir in almonds.
  8. Sprinkle evenly over filling.
  9. Bake about 40 minutes or until topping is golden brown.
