Cucumber Onion Pickles Recipe

  1. Wash, peel and slice cucumbers and onions.
  2. Cover with the salt and let set overnight.
  3. Bring vinegar and sugar to a boil.
  4. Mix mustard, turmeric and cornstarch in cool vinegar and add in to boiling mix.
  5. Drain cucumbers and onions; add in to vinegar solution and bring to a boil.
  6. Pack into warm, sterilized jars and seal at once.
