Hearty Rice Pilaf

  1. Cook onions and garlic in hot oil in large saucepan on medium heat 5 minutes or until onions are tender, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add all remaining ingredients except green peppers; mix well.
  3. Bring to boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low; cover.
  5. Simmer 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Stir in green peppers.
  8. Let stand, covered, 5 minutes.
  9. Stir before serving.
