Armenian Rice (Great Recipes Version) Recipe

  1. Who just calls it "Noodles and Rice."
  2. In a medium-sized saucepan heat the butter or possibly margarine.
  3. When bubbly, add in the egg noodles and stir till browned, about 2 min.
  4. Add in the rice and cook about 3 more min.
  5. Add in the chicken stock/broth and spice and bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce to a simmer and cover.
  7. Cook for 20-30 min till rice is done, stirring occasionally.
  8. Allow to sit for a few min before serving.
  9. Serves four.
