Afghans With Chocolate Icing Recipe
- 7 ounce Butter
- 3 ounce Sugar
- 6 ounce Flour
- 1 ounce Bournville Cocoa
- 2 ounce Corn flakes
- 1 dsp butter
- 1 dsp boiling water
- 2 ounce Chocolate, grated
- 8 ounce Icing sugar Essence of vanilla
- Afghans: Soften butter, add in sugar and beat to a cream; add in flour, cocoa and lastly corn flakes.
- Put spoonfulls on a greased oven tray and bake about 15 min at 180 degrees C (350 F).
- When cool, ice with chocolate icing and put walnuts on top.
- Chocolate Icing: Hot butter, dissolve chocolate in water; add in to butter, then stir in sifted icing sugar.
- Flavour with vanilla.
