Chocolate Chip-Candy Cane Cookies
- 2-1/2 cups flour
- 1 pkg. (4-serving size) Jell-O Vanilla Instant Pudding
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- 2 eggs
- 4 oz. Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
- Heat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Combine flour, dry pudding mix and baking soda.
- Beat butter, sugar and extract in large bowl with mixer until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs; mix well.
- Gradually add flour mixture, mixing after each addition until blended.
- Stir in chocolate and crushed candy.
- Drop tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto parchment-covered baking sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 min.
- or until edges of cookies are lightly browned.
- Cool on baking sheets 1 min.
- Remove to wire racks; cool completely.
