Apple Pie Sweet N Low Recipe
- 2 lb -7 c. Apple, cooking, peeled and sliced
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Butterbuds Sprinkles
- 4 pkt -1 1/4 t bulk Sweet N Low
- 1 Tbsp. Flour, all-purpose
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp Allspice
- 4 sht Phyllo dough-thawed
- In large bowl, toss apples with lemon juice.
- In small bowl, combine sugar, butterbuds, sweet n low, flour, cinnamon, and allspice.
- Add in to the apples and toss to coat.
- Lightly spray one sheet phyllo dough with nonstick spray.
- Mix in half and spray again.
- Place in the pie pan with one edge hanging over the pan.
- Repeat the process with remaining 3 sheets of dough, overlapping in pan to cover bottom completely.
- Spoon apple mix in pan.
- Fold edges of dough over to cover the applesl.
- Spray with nonstick spray.
- Bake 375 for 35 min.
- * Just before eating my slice of Apple pie I like to spray it with the spray butter.

- Also my husbands grandfather always ate his apple pie with a slice of cheddar cheese melted on top....It's just the right touch.
