So Easy! Okra with Wasabi and Shio-Koji
- 5 Okra
- 1/2 tsp Shio-koji (salt fermented rice malt)
- 1 cm Wasabi paste (tubed)
- 1 Sesame, nori, bonito flakes, etc
- Wash the okra and remove the hard parts.
- Wrap in plastic wrap and microwave at 500 W for about 20 seconds.
- (Be careful not to let it explode!)
- Combine the shio-koji and wasabi in a bowl, and dissolve the wasabi well.
- Cut the okra into easy-to-eat pieces, add to the bowl from Step 2, and mix well to finish.
- Top with sesame, nori, bonito flakes, and such to taste.
