So Easy! Okra with Wasabi and Shio-Koji

  1. Wash the okra and remove the hard parts.
  2. Wrap in plastic wrap and microwave at 500 W for about 20 seconds.
  3. (Be careful not to let it explode!)
  4. Combine the shio-koji and wasabi in a bowl, and dissolve the wasabi well.
  5. Cut the okra into easy-to-eat pieces, add to the bowl from Step 2, and mix well to finish.
  6. Top with sesame, nori, bonito flakes, and such to taste.
