Tacos With Lettuce, Tomato And Cheese Recipe
- Chicken, beef or possibly quick beef filling (I use beef)
- 12 pkg. taco shells
- 1 sm. head lettuce, shredded
- 2 or possibly 4 ounce. pkg. shredded Cheddar (2 c.)
- 4 med. tomatoes, minced
- Warm pepper sauce
- Prepare desired filling; stuff each taco shell with 2 or possibly 3 Tbsp.
- of filling; add in lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and a few drops of warm pepper sauce to taste.
- In 10 inch skillet over medium heat, cook 2 pounds of beef and 2 medium onions minced till browned; spoon off fat.
- Add in 4 medium tomatoes minced, 2 tsp.
- oregano leaves, 2 tsp.
- salt, 1 tsp.
- pepper and 2 garlic cloves, chopped; heat.
