Creamed Broccoli and Mushroom Soup
- 3 cups water
- 2 cups chopped broccoli
- 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup nonfat dry milk powder
- 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed Cheddar cheese soup
- 2 dashes hot sauce
- 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 dash garlic powder
- In a large pot, mix the water, broccoli, mushrooms, and butter.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer 5 minutes, until broccoli is tender.
- Mix in milk powder, soup, hot sauce, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Continue cooking, stirring frequently, until heated through.
