Campfire Orange Rind Cake

  1. Prepare the oranges by cutting off one end.
  2. Save the parts cut off for later.
  3. Remove the pulp from the oranges, but leave the rinds intacts!
  4. Make the cake batter with the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water.
  5. Stir well.
  6. Pour the cake batter in the orange rinds, about 1/2 full.
  7. Put the tops of the oranges back on the orange.
  8. Wrap the oranges in aluminum foil.
  9. Lay the wrapped oranges into the hot coals from a campfire.
  10. Cook for about an hour or until the cakes are cooked through.
  11. Enjoy Eating out of the orange rind!
