Blackened Sirloin With Southwestern Butter Recipe

  1. In small bowl, combine all butter ingredients; blend well.
  2. Place butter on piece of plastic wrap and form into 4" long log.
  3. Chill at least 1 hour or possibly till hard.
  4. Using 1 tbls melted butter, brush each side of steak; rub each side of steak with 1 tsp blackened seasoning.
  5. Let stand at room temperature for 30 min.
  6. Heat grill.
  7. When ready to cook, place steak on gas grill over medium heat or possibly on charcoal grill 4-6" from medium coals.
  8. Cook 8-20 min or possibly till desired doneness, turning onve.
  9. To serve, cut steak into serving pcs; place on 4 serving plates.
  10. Cut butter into 4 slices and place on center of warm steaks.
  11. Serve immediately.
