Love Your Husband Dip (Beer and Cheese Dip)
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese(I prefer sharp)
- 4 oz beer ( I prefer a dark beer because it gives the dip a stronger beer taste but go with what you have on hand)
- 2 tbsp hidden valley ranch salad dressing mix
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
- In a microwavable bowl place the cream cheese and heat for 45 seconds.
- Stir it a little and replace it in the microwave for another 30 seconds.
- Add all remaining ingredients and give a good stir.
- Back in the microwave for 45 seconds.
- Remove and mix it well again.
- Back in the microwave for 45 seconds.
- At this point it should be a creamy consistency where all ingredients are mixed well and cheese is completely melted.
- Serve with pretzels, tortilla chips, crackers(Triscuits are great with this),bread slices, carrots and celery.....whatever you like to dip!
