Batter For Frying Recipe

  1. Beat egg whites till foamy; add in cream of tartar and continue beating till stiff but not dry.
  2. Set aside.
  3. In a separate bowl beat egg yolks, then gently fold yolks into beaten egg whites, being careful not to break down whites.
  4. In small bowl combine soy flour with salt, baking pwdr, and spices and sift to mix well.
  5. Carefully add in to egg mix and completely incorporate.
  6. Mix in parmesan cheese.
  7. Use this as a batter for either deep or possibly shallow frying.
  8. Try deep frying vegetables such as zuchinni, eggplant, or possibly cauliflower.
  9. If you like, ingredients can be coated with additional parmesan cheese before coating with batter for frying.
  10. This recipe yields 1/2 c. of batter; 6 carbs in entire recipe.
  11. Yield: 1/2 c.
