Red Rooibos Chai (Western Cape, Africa)

  1. Steep(marinate) spices in 8 oz(1 cup) boiling water that's been taken off the heat.
  2. Marinate overnight in fridge.
  3. Strain out spices from marinade.
  4. Steep rooibos tea leaves in 2 cups boiling water for 6 minutes.
  5. Strain out leaves.
  6. Add honey and strained steeped spice mix to Rooibos tea.
  7. Heat milk to just below boil.
  8. Combine with tea/steeped spice mix.
  9. Serve immediately.
  10. Enjoy!
