Molasses Butter Rum Balls Recipe

  1. Cream butter with sugar and molasses.
  2. Sift flour and salt; stir in nuts.
  3. Combine mixtures and blend thoroughly.
  4. Blend in rum.
  5. Shape into small balls about the size of a large grape.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake in 350 degree preheated oven 15 to 18 min.
  7. Roll in confectioners' sugar while still hot, makes a glaze.
  8. Makes about 6 dozen.
