Rhubarb Meringue Dessert
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup butter
- 2 egg yolks
- 4 cups cut rhubarb
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 6 egg whites
- 14 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 14 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup sugar
- Mix crust ingredients and press into 9" X 13" pan.
- Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes.
- Pour filling onto hot crust.
- Bake 30 minutes.
- Beat meringue until foamy.
- Gradually add sugar.
- Beat until stiff and bake 30 minutes.
