Philly Cheesesteak Sliders
- 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Sliced Into Strips
- 1 Small Onion, Sliced Into Strips
- 1- 1/2 Tablespoon Chopped Garlic, Divided
- 1/2 pounds Deli Sliced Roast Beef, Chopped
- 1 package (12-count) Original Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
- 1/2 cups Low-fat Mayonnaise
- 8 slices Provolone Cheese
- 1/2 cups Butter
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over med-high heat.
- Add peppers and cook for a couple of minutes.
- Add onions and cook for another couple of minutes.
- Add 1 tablespoon garlic and roast beef, cooking until any liquid from the meat has evaporated.
- Remove from heat and set aside.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Slice the package of rolls in halfdont separate the rolls, just slice the whole lot, and place the bottom half in a baking dish.
- Smear with half the mayonnaise and top with 4 slices of cheese.
- Put the meat mixture on top of the rolls, then top with remaining 4 slices of cheese.
- Smear the rest of the mayonnaise on the other half of the rolls and place on top of the meat to make a giant sandwich!
- Melt together butter and remaining garlic.
- Drizzle over the top of the rolls.
- Cover the pan with foil and bake 25 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake another 10 minutes.
- Serve right away!
