All-Star Pumpkin Pie Dessert

  1. Heat oven to 350F.
  2. Reserve 1 cup cake mix for topping; set aside.
  3. Combine remaining cake mix, butter and 1 egg in bowl.
  4. Beat at low speed until well mixed.
  5. Spread in bottom of greased 13x9-inch baking pan.
  6. Set aside.
  7. Combine all filling ingredients in another bowl.
  8. Beat at low speed until smooth; pour filling over crust.
  9. Combine all topping ingredients except pecans in bowl; stir until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  10. Stir in pecans.
  11. Sprinkle topping over filling.
  12. Bake 45-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
  13. Cool 15 minutes.
  14. Serve warm or cool with whipped cream.
  15. Cover; store refrigerated.
  16. *Substitute carrot cake mix.
  17. **Substitute 1 (30-ounce) can pumpkin pie mix.
  18. Omit 1/2 cup brown sugar and pumpkin pie spice.
  19. Bake 50-60 minutes.
  20. ***Substitute 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves.
