Buckwheat Pancakes for a Bunch
- 12 cups all-purpose white flour
- 3 cups buckwheat flour
- 3 cups wheat flour
- 1 cup baking powder
- 14 cup salt
- 14 cup baking soda
- 18 eggs
- 6 quarts whole milk
- 1.
- Mix dry ingredients (first 5) together.
- 2.
- Mix wet ingredients together.
- 3.
- Mix wet mixture into dry mixture -- mix thouroughly.
- Preheat griddle at medium heat setting.
- Ladle 1/2 to 2/3 cup per pancake onto lightly oiled griddle.
- Cook for about 2 minutes per side.
- These pancakes need to cook slower than normal pancakes or they will get too dark.
- Serve with berries, syrup or apple sauce.Enjoy!
