Seriously Delicious! Easy Sweet and Spicy Steamed Chicken Drumettes

  1. Pat dry the drumettes.
  2. Put the sesame oil and the grated garlic into a frying pan and heat it up.
  3. Once it becomes fragrant, add in the drumettes.
  4. On medium-high heat, roll them around in the pan gently.
  5. Cook until the skins change color.
  6. Cut the leeks into 5cm long pieces and put them in.
  7. Then add in all the other ingredients.
  8. Bring it to a boil on medium heat and then cover with an otoshibuta, or drop lid.
  9. From time to time, move them around while boiling them.
  10. Once the sauce has cooked down about halfway, take off the lid and keep simmering until the sauce has cooked down about 90%.
  11. Finally, raise the heat to high and coat the wings in the sauce.
  12. Transfer to a serving plate and it's done!
