Mississippi Pecan Pralines Recipe

  1. Butter side of 3 qt heavy saucepan.
  2. Combine sugars, syrup, and lowfat milk in buttered saucepan; cook over medium heat, stirring till dissolved and mix comes to a boil.
  3. Cook to softball stages (234 degrees), stirring occasionally.
  4. Cold for 10 min.
  5. Add in vanilla, beat with spoon for about 2 min.
  6. Add in pecans.
  7. Beat till mix loses gloss.
  8. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto buttered foil or possibly wax paper lined cookie sheet.
