Eggnog Pound Cake Recipe

  1. Heat oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Grease and flour 12 c. bundt pan.
  3. Blend packets (1) and (2), 2/3 c. water, 1/3 c. rum and next 4 ingredients till moistened.
  4. Beat 2 min at medium speed.
  5. Pour in prepared pan.
  6. Bake 325 degrees for 45 to 55 min.
  7. Combine topping packet with sugar in small saucepan; add in 2 Tbsp.
  8. water and 1/4 c. butter.
  9. Stir over medium heat till mix comes to a boil.
  10. Remove from heat, add in remaining rum.
  11. Immediately after cake is removed from oven pour 1/2 of sauce mix around edge of pan.
  12. Cold 10 min; invert onto serving plate and brush remaining sauce on cake.
  13. Store cake tightly covered.
