Lemon Cream Pasta

  2. Cook pasta according to package directions.

  4. Heat cream in a medium non-stick saucepan over medium low heat until warm but not boiling.

  6. Add the grated Parmesan into the warm cream in two batches.
  7. Whisk together until the cheese dissolves.
  8. 4.
  9. Whisk in the pepper and lemon juice.
  10. 5.
  11. Drain the pasta, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
  12. 6.
  13. Add the pasta into the sauce.
  14. Stir to combine.
  15. If the sauce is runny cook it down for about 2 minutes until it sticks to the pasta.
  16. If it is too thick add reserved pasta water as needed to thin it.
  17. 7.
  18. At this point you can either mix the herbs into the pasta and sauce, or use them as garnish on top.
  19. Notes: I used fresh basil as garnish for our pasta.
  20. It was really good!
