Tangy Barbecued Pork Chops
- 1/2 c. maple syrup
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- dash of ground cloves
- 1/2 c. catsup
- 1 Tbsp. steak sauce
- 1 Tbsp. vinegar
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 6 to 8 (3/4 to 1-inch thick) pork chops
- Combine
- first 11 ingredients in small saucepan.
- Bring to boil;
- reduce
- heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Grill chops over medium
- coals
- for
- 10 minutes on each side.
- Baste with sauce and
- grill an additional 15 to 20 minutes or to desired degree
- of doneness, basting frequently with sauce and turning meat occasionally.
- Yield:
- 6 to 8 servings.
